Participants at the recent BizConnect 2025 not only gained insights into the regional airport authority’s initiatives driving business forward but also received an in-depth overview of the JobsOhio Relocation Incentive that offers employers $15,000 for out-of-state STEM and technical hires who relocate to Ohio. Open to JobsOhio’s targeted industries, the funding is available to employers of all sizes on a first-come, first-served basis up to $225,000 per company. The incentive is paid after the new hire establishes Ohio residency. According to Kristi Clouse, JobsOhio’s senior managing director of talent, the program was launched earlier this year with an investment of $50 million. Other JobsOhio initiatives, including talent attraction and recruitment campaigns, customized talent support, and the Ohio Workforce Grant for upskilling and reskilling are designed to help companies achieve long-term, sustainable success.
