
The state has extended the deadline for companies to apply for the College Technology Internship Program to September 26 for internships between November 1, 2025 to April 30, 2026. Companies need to provide a meaningful internship experience, must have non-residential workspace, and must hire interns as employees (W-2). Companies can hire up to 10 interns for different positions. The minimum wage for interns is $15 per hour but can exceed that amount.
Company applications accepted: Aug. 4 – Sept. 26, 2025
Student applications accepted: Sept. 2 – 26, 2025
Internships effective: Nov. 1, 2025 – April 30, 2026
Previous interns have had a range of skills and experience, from design and engineering to mathematics and software development. Interns have helped companies develop social media platforms, mobile apps, and websites, new augmented reality and virtual reality technologies, and implement new software to modernize operations and accounting and enhance cybersecurity.
