The New Albany Walking Classic® which steps off on September 7, is seeking course marshals to cheer on walkers along the race route, help ensure they are safe while on the course, and make sure no cars besides official vehicles enter the racecourse, unless a designated turn is allowed. Volunteers will be placed at a specific location along the course and remain at that location until the last walkers have passed. The event, which typically runs from 7:30 am to 11 am, offers both a 5k and 10k distances. SIGN UP
