PARTNER PROFILE: New Albany Parks and Recreation Commits to Fitness

New Albany Parks and Recreation is a vibrant park system that features more than 200 acres of parkland as well as 38 baseball, football, soccer, and lacrosse fields. Complexes at Bevelhymer Park and Thompson Park provide seven tennis courts, 16 pickleball courts, and one basketball court as well as walking trails, playgrounds, pavilions, and concession stands. Business Park employees can find seasonal sports leagues, including soccer and volleyball as well as pickleball classes. The Wexner Community Park offers a pavilion with fireplace, warming kitchen, restrooms, and adjacent playground and lawn space. A new Fieldhouse and Community Center is expected to open next year. Operated by New Albany-Plain Local Joint Park District, New Albany Parks and Recreation serves the New Albany-Plain Local School District, City of New Albany, and Plain Township.
