Local Leaders Earn Recognition on Power 125

As New Albany and the New Albany International Business Park continue to grow, so does the number of area leaders that have been singled out in Columbus Business First’s 2025 Power 125, a list of outstanding community and business leaders who are making an impact on economic development in the region. Among the leaders: Amy Albery, CEO, Wallick Communities, who is passionate about creating affordable and senior housing in and around Central Ohio and leads one of the region’s busiest developers and builders; Jennifer Chrysler, New Albany’s director of Community Development, whose leadership has generated $47 billion in private investment, 36 million square feet of commercial space and 26,000 jobs in the City; Bob Daimler, CEO of Daimler Group, among the first commercial developers here that built Water’s Edge; Sandy Doyle-Ahern, president, EMH&T, who is shaping regional development as leader of the area’s largest engineering firm and chair of the LinkUs workforce stakeholder group.

Bill Ebbing, president, New Albany Company, who oversees the development company’s real estate holdings, which have grown substantially in recent years in New Albany and nearby; Jim Evers, vice president and Ohio site manufacturing and operations manager of Intel, who leads the development of Intel’s Ohio One project based in New Albany, the largest single private-sector investment in the state’s history; Alex Fischer, partner, New Albany Co., and White Oak Partners, who is helping to shape downtown Columbus as chairman of Downtown Columbus Inc., while continuing to serve roles with New Albany Co. and White Oak Partners; Yaromir Steiner, CEO, Steiner & Associates, whose company is building The Hamlet at Sugar Run, a mixed-use development featuring residential, commercial, and retail offerings as well as a park; Andy Weeks, executive vice president, VanTrust Real Estates, instrumental in developing numerous commercial properties in New Albany; and Les Wexner, co-founder of the New Albany Co., who is a power player in local development while remaining involved at the OSU Wexner Medical Center and the Columbus Partnership.
