Area businesses have the opportunity to become a New Albany Plain Local High School Industry Partner, to enrich the learning experience for senior students and support workforce development in the community. NAHS is looking for Industry Partnerships through NAHS Senior Seminar. Senior Seminar is a performance-based course where students showcase their K-12 skills culminating in a project of their choice. Students will work under the guidance of a high school faculty member, as well as an on-site advisor, and at the conclusion of the project, the student will make a public presentation of the process, job shadowing/product, and findings of the project. Highlighted below are multiple ways that local businesses can support students:
1) Host a student for a minimum of 80 hours on a real-world project
2) Host a student group for a day of exploration.
3) Speak to students on the NAPLS campus to offer insights into your industry and workplace culture.
4) Enlist students for fundraisers, community outreach and more.
