The state of Ohio’s Third Frontier College Technology Internship Program, which helps companies find young, diverse talent to support their technology needs, has extended its application deadline for companies to September 13. The internship program reimburses companies two-thirds of an intern’s wages up to $7,500. Companies must hire interns as employees (W-2) and provide a meaningful internship experience in a non-residential workspace. Companies can hire up to 10 interns at a minimum wage of $15 per hour. The agency matches open positions with student applicants. Companies review resumes and decide to interview or hire the intern.
