Healthy New Albany Food Pantry is committed to eliminating food insecurity within the New Albany-Plain Local Schools and throughout our community by connecting neighbors in need with food and other critical resources. The food pantry, a 501c3 nonprofit, provides access to food during open pantry hours and for those facing an emergency food crisis. It’s resource library offers direct services including ESL training and cooking demonstrations while connecting people in need to healthcare, education, employment, housing, utilities, and legal services. Volunteers assist families in the open pantry, stock and sort food, pick up donated items, and become conversation partners with English language learners.
