Presented by the City of New Albany and the New Albany Chamber, the Independence Day Parade & Festival is a favorite annual tradition designed to foster civic pride and celebrate community. Thousands of residents and visitors are expected to attend the July 4th parade at 11 am and the festival, which begins at 6 pm and ends with fireworks at 10 pm. Parade participants can register and win parade awards, including the Mayor’s Award for best community spirit and Presidential Award for most patriotic. The free family-friendly festival will feature live entertainment, Dueling Axes Mobile Unit, bounce houses, face painters, balloon twisters, and caricature artists.
