Employers can apply for Ohio TechCred grants that cover the cost of technology-focused training programs for private employees from May 1 to May 31. TechCred helps employees learn new skills while enabling employers to build a stronger workforce with competencies needed in a tech-infused economy. Training for approved credentials may start on or after the first day of the month immediately following the last application period. Employers who submit successful applications will be reimbursed up to $2,000 per earned credential. Many trainings can be completed online. Additional application periods occur every two months.
