An historic home at 24 Main Street is now 24 Main, an inspired new restaurant that is cultivating a reputation as a romantic destination for date night and popular meet up spot for friends. New Albany residents and cofounders, Candice White and Jess McCarter, have curated a stylish addition to the local restaurant scene in the two-story former home that dates to the 1800s. The globally inspired, rotating menu ranges from scallops in romesco sauce to mushroom gnocchis accompanied by a selection of beer, wines, and handcraft cocktails. With 2,000 square feet that seats 60 indoors and 60 on its patio and balcony, 24 Main hopes to draw in the after-work crowd, dinner guests, and late-night revelers. VIEW VIDEO
