Quality Partnerships Protect Stormwater

The Franklin Soil and Water Conservation District is encouraging companies throughout the county to take the Water Quality Partnership pledge to help prevent stormwater pollution and improve water quality in local streams and rivers. As Water Quality Partners, businesses pledge to work to keep the streams that flow through communities healthy by using best management practices in their daily operations and by educating their employees about stormwater issues. Since program launched in 2014, hundreds of area businesses have pledged to take action. The Water Quality Partner helps small businesses avoid stormwater pollution complaints and municipalities reach their targeted outreach goals by sharing information on best practices. TAKE PLEDGE
