Walking Classic Attracts Thousands of Walkers and Spectators to New Albany

The 19th annual New Albany Walking Classic, the largest walking-only race in the country, has added a shorter course and the opportunity to participate as a corporate team. The 5K and 10K courses wind their way through the community’s neighborhoods, leisure trails and parklands on September 10. With a start and finish at Market Square, the event attracts a wide range of participants from elite athletes to the casual trekker. The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is the presenting sponsor. Proceeds benefit Healthy New Albany’s programming, cooking classes and mental health initiatives. SIGN UP
