The Franklin Soil and Water Conservation District is encouraging companies throughout the county to take the Water Quality Partnership pledge to help prevent stormwater pollution and improve water quality in local streams and rivers. Launched in 2014, the program helps small businesses avoid stormwater pollution complaints and municipalities reach the targeted outreach goals by sharing information on best practices with businesses too small to have compliance professionals on staff.
