Video Underscores Innovate New Albany’s Continued Appeal

Established more than 10 years ago in a partnership between the New Albany Company and the City, Innovate New Albany continues to see strong demand for its coworking environment, TIGER Events and Expert Office Hours as the latest video demonstrates. The incubator is designed for technology startups and support services that are tech-focused, scalable, conduct business full time and are committed to building their presence in New Albany for the long term. In the last two years, the incubator expanded its reach and frequency of Tiger Events, including TIGER Talks, TIGER Tools and TIGER Tales by going virtual with speakers from across the country and an international audience. The programs provide business leaders with the knowledge and skills needed to launch and grow successful products and businesses.

Meanwhile, it has increased the number of industry advisors who provide free Expert Office Hours to up to 12. The program offers entrepreneurs the opportunity to get advice from seasoned professionals in areas ranging from law and finance to marketing and management. The incubator also partners with the Healthy New Albany as well as universities including Ohio State, Otterbein, Denison and Wittenberg to bring unique programs and opportunities to its entrepreneurs. Located at 8000 Walton Parkway, the New Albany Company provides subsidized space to the incubator to allow the City to provide affordable rent rates and flexible lease terms while covering the administrative costs. In 2021, two incubator businesses, Bowers PR and Josh Staley Productions, “graduated” from the incubator and opened offices in New Albany.
