Abercrombie & Fitch, Co., the New Albany-based global omnichannel retailer, has partnered with Uber, Shipt, Postmates, Roadie and software provider Delivery Solutions to improve fulfillment capabilities and delivery speed for its new same-day delivery service. Meanwhile, A&F CEO Fran Horowitz was recently featured in Forbes Magazine explaining how listening to customers has helped the company align its purpose.
The new delivery partnerships will allow customers in certain zip codes to receive products from its stores within the same day. Customers can now use the Abercrombie & Fitch, abercrombie kids, Hollister, Gilly Hicks and Social Tourist websites and mobile apps to shop the full range of apparel inventory that is available in their local stores for same-day delivery. This initiative is part of Abercrombie & Fitch Co.’s ongoing journey to transform its supply chain and deliver capabilities that best meet its customers’ needs and shopping preferences.
The Forbes Magazine interview with Horowitz explains how A&F works to ensure its brands represent the values of its customers. “We’ve been on a journey to embed sustainability, inclusion and diversity throughout our organization while expanding our ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) efforts to have a positive impact on the communities we touch around the world,” notes Horowitz. “There is no finish line to this work, and we’re committed to showing up for our associates, our customers and our partners in authentic ways to continue the driving change we know they want to see.”
