New-Albany-based Wallick Communities, a leading affordable and senior housing developer and owner, has promoted Amy Albery to the role of CEO. For the past year, Albery served as chief operating officer in preparation for her transition to the CEO post. She joined Wallick in 2011 and has held key leadership roles in development, asset management and affordable housing for the company.
Albery plans to increase the number of affordable housing units under management from 190 to 275 by 2028 while adhering to its core values of care, character and collaboration and its mission of providing homes, opportunities and hope to families it serves throughout central Ohio and the Midwest. Albery was recently recognized as one of the top ten women in the affordable housing industry by Affordable Housing Financemagazine, a national publication focused on the industry.
