A new full-time, on-demand transit service, COTA//Plus Bus On-Demand, is the first of its kind in the country and serves as a model for other cities seeking to update public transit services in response to COVID-19. The service is available in northeast Columbus, New Albany and Gahanna, where riders formerly relied on fixed route lines – 25, 35 and 45 – that were suspended in May due to COVID-19.
