Among New Albany’s strengths is the number of companies and business leaders that receive local and national recognition for their work. Recently, Dan Snyder, founder and CEO of Homeside Financial, a fintech lending startup, received the national Glassdoor Top CEO Award. Glassdoor is one of the world’s largest job and recruiting sites. New Albany retailer Abercrombie & Fitch made Forbes Magazine’s 2019 list of Best Employers for Women.

Abercrombie joins other New Albany companies, including Discover Financial, Aetna, Anomatic, Thirty-One Gifts, Accel, Inc. and EMH&T on the Business First list of top central Ohio employers. Business First also listed Bill Ebbing, president of New Albany Company, and Rich Langsdale, co-founder and former managing partner of NCT Ventures, among the most influential business people in the region.
