Several years ago, the New Albany Community Foundation launched a community dialogue by hosting mental health advocate, Mariel Hemingway. Now the biggest impact is being felt in the New Albany Plain Local Schools where administrators, Healthy New Albany, Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Mount Carmel Health System, the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Concord Counseling Services, the city, township and a growing advisory group have implemented an evidence-based program called Sources of Strength to promote student well-being with funding from the Rocky Fork Co.
