Marburn Academy, a nonprofit day school that serves central Ohio students with learning differences such as dyslexia, executive function difficulties and attention issues that prevent them from succeeding in traditional schools, recently relocated to New Albany.
The 64,000-square-foot facility is situated on a 17-acre site located at 9555 Johnstown Road. Marburn is the only school in central Ohio with academic and co-curricular programs designed to address a range of unique learning and personal development needs of students.
Opened in 1981 with 12 students, the academy now educates more than 300 students year round. It is accredited at the highest level by the Independent Schools Association of the Central States.
