A bid alternate was selected to begin the installation of the Ganton East Wishbone which consisted of 1700 LF of 16” ductile iron pipe transmission main and associated valves and appurtenances. The bid alternate cost was roughly $158,000.00. Additional water work was added to the contract for simplicity of construction, this extra work consisted of approximately 3000 LF of 36” ductile iron pipe transmission main and associated valves and appurtenances along the proposed Beech Road. The approximate cost of this work was $1,000,000.00.

Sanitary Sewer:
Base bid work included phases 1 and 2 of the Worthington Road Subtrunk Sewer. Phase 1 consisted of 3700 LF of 30” PVC and 1400 LF of 8” and 10” PVC Force Main. These improvements cost approximately $1,070,000.00. Phase 2 consisted of 3500 LF of 24” PVC pipe costing approximately $520,000.

Roadway:
Roadway work consisted of the realignment and reconstruction of approximately 9000 LF of existing Beech Road and 1800 LF of Ganton Parkway. Incidental to these roadway improvements were storm sewer, new street lighting, reconfiguration of an existing traffic signal, shared-use asphalt path, new splitter islands with landscaping, telecommunications duct bank and the addition of a bike lane. The roadway improvements portion of the Beech Road project cost roughly $10,000,000.00.

Blacklick Creek Trunk Sewer Part 2A-1 (Trucco Construction)

Blacklick Creek Trunk Sewer Part 2B/BCTS-3 (Complete General Construction)

Project Description:rnThis project consists of furnishing all labor, material and equipment for the construction of approximately 9,400 linear feet of 42-inch and 48-inch gravity sanitary sewer with multiple connections to existing sewers and other related items including site work for the base bid work associated with the Blacklick Creek Trunk Sewer (BCTS) Part 2B. BCTS-3 continues the main sewer alignment to the North for roughly 3000 LF of 42” plastic pipe with other smaller sewer branches consisting of 36” plastic pipe. The cost for both projects is expected to be roughly $12,800,00.00.rnrnGeneral Alignment:rnPart 2B picked up where 2A-2 left off just West of the county line. The alignment continues North for several thousand feet then turns East towards the county line. The sewer then continues North along the county line crossing SR-161, Smith’s Mill Road and terminating just North of Innovation Campus Way West. Part 3 picks up at the terminus of Part 2B, continuing North along the County Line. The sewer then terminates at the junction of Jug Street and Central College Road.
