Ohio has been named America’s premier state for business in 2026 by CNBC, marking the first time the state has achieved this honor since the annual list began in 2007. Analysts and state leaders pointed to strong infrastructure, broad market access, abundant power capacity, and a deep inventory of shovel-ready sites as key drivers behind the ranking. The annual study grades all 50 states across 138 metrics in 10 categories, including infrastructure, access to capital, and workforce.

New Albany has consistently played a key role in Ohio’s growth story. The strategically planned New Albany International Business Park continues to attract and grow global companies and demonstrate that Ohio is a worthy competitor for major worldwide investment.
