High school students from Lead The Way visited DSV’s New Albany location on July 15 for an inside look at careers in supply chain and logistics. The visit offered the students a real-world glimpse of how goods move from the warehouse floor to global networks.

“We welcome the chance to foster the next generation of students and give them a firsthand look at supply chain and logistics,” said Tom Ault, LCB, Branch Manager of DSV Columbus. “Regardless of what their interests are, there’s always a path for students within the logistics world. It’s super cool for them to be able to experience logistics directly and see how they can relate it to the clothes that they’re wearing and the shoes that they have on.”

The students also took a bus tour of the New Albany International Business Park, led by the City of New Albany’s Economic Development Team, and learned how strategic planning brings together manufacturing, distribution, data, and logistics within one interconnected business corridor.
