Resources:Rev1’s TechAngels Fund Offers Early-Stage Capital

Rev1 Ventures recently launched 71/70 Angels to provide critical early-stage capital to software and advanced technology companies nationwide. The new program underscores Rev 1’s commitment to energize Ohio’s Angel investor community and build upon the success of Ohio TechAngels Fund with a new angel fund for the future. The typical investment range is $200,000-$300,000 in up to 12 companies. The name, 71/70 Angels, is a nod to I-71 and I-70, the two major freeways that intersect in the region connecting central Ohio with other areas of the US and the interconnectivity of angel investing. The first Ohio TechAngel fund was created in 2004 by New Albany resident, John Huston, and was a founding member of the Angel Capital Association.
