The 19th Annual New Albany Walking Classic, will take place on Sunday, September 10. The largest walking-only race in the country, the Walking Classic has added a shorter course and the opportunity to participate as a corporate team. More than 1,400 people, from casual walkers to elite athletes, will trek along the 5K and 10K courses that wind through the community this year. The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is the presenting sponsor. Proceeds benefit Healthy New Albany programming, community cooking classes and mental health initiatives.
