Businesses can apply for TechCred, Ohio’s grants program that reimburses employers for the cost of technology training for employees, now through September 29. Ohio TechCred helps employees learn new skills while enabling employers to build a stronger workforce with competencies needed in a tech-infused economy. Training for approved credentials may start on or after the first day of the month immediately following the last application period. Employers who submit successful applications will be reimbursed up to $2,000 per earned credential per employee and are eligible for up to $30,000 per employer for each round of funding. Many trainings take less than a year to complete and can be done online.
