There Are Many Ways to Celebrate the Holidays in New Albany

You don’t need to go far to find a wide variety of holiday events and activities to get you in the spirit.

December 2 through December 11 – The New Albany Children’s Ballet Theater performs the holiday classic, The Nutcracker, with matinee and evening performances December 3 – The New Albany Police Department is partnering with New Albany High School Student, Gwen Mouat, to collect new, unwrapped toys to donate to Toys for Tots at a Toy Drive from 11 am to 1 pm in the Village Hall Parking lot.

December 13 – Take a moment to relax during the hectic season with “Om” for the Holidays, a 90-minute restorative yoga practice at the Heit Center for Healthy New Albany.

December 17 – Sponsor a wreath for a veteran and attend the wreath-laying ceremony at Maplewood Cemetery conducted by the Scouts BSA Troop 450 as part of Wreaths Across America.

December 18 – Don’t miss the New Albany Symphony Orchestra as it takes to the stage for its annual Holiday Spectacular at 3 pm.
