More than 50 community members attended a recent luncheon and discussion hosted by the City to honor veterans in the community on November 11. Veterans shared their perspective on what it is like to work and live in New Albany as well as ideas on how communities can best support those who serve our country. Mayor Sloan Spalding presented updated plans for the new Veteran’s Memorial that will be incorporated into Rose Run Park Phase 2. The program was presented by City, Healthy New Albany and the New Albany Chamber of Commerce with support from Meta and Turner Construction.
