Mammograms are now available at the Mount Carmel New Albany Women’s Health Center, 7333 Smith’s Mill Road. Its state-of-the-art digital mammogram units provide the capabilities to manipulate films for better focus, zoom in and out and adjust contrast for clearer viewing. The results are read and interpreted by fellowship-trained radiologists. Appointments can be scheduled online or by phone and usually take less than 30 minutes. Results are available within days.
