Red Roof President George Limbert and Lower CTO Bill Kaper were recently recognized among Columbus Business First’s 2022 list of most admired executives in central Ohio. The C-Suite Awards were determined by a vote of the publication’s peers. Columbus Business First accepted nominations for top CEOs, president/COOs, CFOs, CIO/CTOs, CMOs and others, then turned the voting over to them to find out who among their peers inspires them. Abercrombie & Fitch CEO Fran Horowitz is the keynote speaker for the C-Suites Awards Gala on September 22 at the Hilton Columbus Downtown.

Limbert joined Red Roof in 2013 as the company’s in-house counsel and was appointed President in 2021. He guides an organization that serves millions of guests each year with 670 properties across the United States, Brazil and Japan. Limbert is also an adjunct professor of franchise law at The Ohio State University, Moritz College of Law. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the American Hotel and Lodging Association and the Ohio Hotel and Lodging Association. Kaper, a veteran of Amazon.com and Root Insurance who has led product and engineering focused organizations across multiple sectors, was named CTO of Lower.com in 2021. He is executing Lower’s aggressive product and technology innovation roadmap for the fintech company launched in 2018.
