New Albany is about to begin the first phase of transforming the 100-acre Taylor Farm into a destination park for nature lovers. Taylor Farm Park will preserve and showcase 34 acres of forested wetlands that are home to a range of waterfowl as well as native plant species. Phase one, which is expected to be completed by the end of the year, includes the addition of 2.5 miles of multi-purpose trails, seating areas, landscaping and parking. Taylor Farm Park, the site of a former farm dating back to the 1800s, is bounded by Rocky Fork Creek, Dublin-Granville Road, Harlem Road and the State Route 161. READ MORE
