VanTrust Real Estate, LLC continues its momentum in New Albany with its latest project, a build-to-suit facility for Cupertino Electric Inc. (CEI), a privately-owned electrical engineering and construction company headquartered in San Jose, California. CEI is one of many companies attracted to the New Albany area due in part to its relationship with Meta, which operates an expanding data center here. VanTrust plans to break ground this spring and expects the building to be completed in early 2023. READ MORE

The 445,000 square-foot building will be located at 13101 Worthington Road NW. CEI operates throughout the United States, providing electrical installation, renewable energy solar plants and data centers. It makes server racks for Facebook’s data centers. “Meta has invested over $1.5 billion in New Albany and has served as a strong catalyst for vendors all over the country to expand their operations in the area,” said Phil Rasey, VanTrust Vice President of Development.

“We value our partnership with VanTrust,” said Michael Loges, New Albany economic development manager. “The completion and successful leasing of the projects that VanTrust has developed over the last several years underscores its commitment to New Albany as a viable, attractive location that can support any size business, large or small.”
