The New Albany Community Foundation’s New Albany Lecture Series celebrates its 10th anniversary season with a diverse group of experts in fields ranging from civil discourse and social justice to national security and health and wellness. Deepak Chopra, MD, a pioneer in integrative medicine and best-selling author, kicks off the series delving into health and wellness on October 18. 2021 Nobel Peace Prize Winner Maria Ressa is slated to address social justice issues speak on January 23.
Fox News’ Bret Baier, chief political anchor and author, discusses American history on February 16. Global economic analyst, Rana Foroohar, moderates a debate between economic experts, Dr. Arthur Laffer, an advisor to President Reagan, and former U.S. Labor Secretary, Robert Reich, offer divergent viewpoints on the economy March 8. The series concludes on June 6 with a national security discussion moderated by Jim Sciutto, CNN’s chief national security correspondent, and featuring General John F. Kelly, former Secretary of Homeland Security and White House advisor, alongside Admiral James Stavridis, NATO’s 16th Supreme Allied Commander.
