Amphitheater Expands City’s Cultural Arts Offerings

The Charleen and Charles Hinson Amphitheater opened adjacent to the McCoy Center for the Performing Artsand began hosting national and local artists and performers.

The 800-seat amphitheater is located at 170 W. Granville Street on the north end of Rose Run Park and adjacent to the McCoy Center for the Performing Art, expanding the City’s performance space. The venue will be overseen by the McCoy Center with programming from the Columbus Association for the Performing Arts (CAPA) and, like the McCoy, will host national artists and performers as well as local arts organizations.
