Lower, a fast-growing fintech mortgage lending and refinancing company, is on a roll. The company, located at 8131 Smith’s Mill Road, has grown to nearly 1,000 employees at its headquarters here. It recently earned naming rights to the new downtown Columbus Crew Stadium which will be known as Lower.com Field. Meanwhile, founder and president Dan Snyder, was named the #4 Top CEO in the country for small-to-medium-sized companies by the employee review site, Glassdoor, based upon employee input.

Lower’s strong, open communications with employees also earned it recognition as the Top Workplace in 2021 by CEO Magazine. The publication’s rating was based upon surveys of 17,433 employees. The magazine also singled out Snyder for a special award in the leadership category as a result of “stand-out” scores from Lower’s employee responses.
