The city of New Albany recently expanded its economic development team with the appointment of Michael Loges as economic development manager. Loges brings more than 12 years of development experience, including work for the Ohio Development Services Agency, city of Columbus and the Central Ohio Transit Authority. He offers expertise in program development and oversight, budgeting and strategic communications. Loges’ role will enable the department to increase its ability to proactively attract more regional, state, national and international business to the 5,000-acre New Albany International Business Park.
“Michael will be a great compliment to our development team,” said New Albany Director of Community Development Jennifer Chrysler. “His economic development experience is the right fit for where our community is in our development life cycle.”
Loges, a graduate of The Ohio State University, has nearly twelve years of government and economic development experience. “I am excited to join the extraordinarily talented team of professionals at the city of New Albany and build upon the community’s incredible investment successes,” Loges said. “Implementing the community’s recently updated Economic Development Plan will certainly be a focus of mine to ensure that New Albany remains a vibrant, competitive, and resilient community for existing and prospective employers and entrepreneurs.”
