Township Fire Chief Earns Service Award

Congratulations to Plain Township Fire Chief Jack Rupp who received the Distinguished Service Award from the State Fire Marshal’s Ohio Fire Service Hall of Fame in recognition for his 50 years of “making a difference to improve fire service.” Rupp, who began his career more than 29 years ago, was named fire chief in July after serving with the department since 2002. A public safety inspector, fire safety instructor and HAZMAT technician, Rupp’s dedication and leadership have been instrumental in improving fire safety locally and across the state. READ MORE
