Citing its ideal location and strong talent pool, Hims & Hers, a direct-to-consumer digital health and wellness company, recently announced that it has chosen a 302,880 square-foot facility in New Albany for its new mail-order pharmacy and fulfillment center. The fast-growing digital enterprise leased an entire building at 9750 Innovation Campus Way just months after it was completed by VanTrust Real Estate.

Approximately 500 new jobs will be created by the e-commerce company, including picking and packing, supervisors, pharmacy technicians and customer service personnel. “The Columbus area is a central location that provides direct access to our customers across the country, especially those who may not have immediate access to a local pharmacy,” said Lori Jackson, Senior Vice President of Operations for Hims & Hers. “We chose the New Albany area for its ideal location and pool of local talent, and we’re excited to invest in the region.”

“The latest addition to the business park demonstrates that New Albany has the assets to attract high-tech jobs to the community and the region,” said Mayor Sloan Spalding. “The VanTrust team was great to work with in attracting this exciting project to New Albany. Hims & Hers will be a great addition to the New Albany International Business Park and its high-tech manufacturing industry cluster.” VanTrust now plans to build two new speculative warehouse projects in New Albany on Innovation Campus Way West.
