Incubator, Chamber, City Go Viral with Programs

There are no shortage of opportunities to participate in a TIGER workshop, chamber program or city council meeting during the COVID-19 outbreak. Innovate New Albany, the city’s incubator for technology and small businesses, is live-streaming its popular TIGER Talks, Tales and Workshops as well as its Expert Office Hours. Residents can learn about online public meetings of city council, boards and commissions and get directions to log in on the city’s website. The New Albany Chamber of Commerce is also offering virtual programs, including live webinars.

Live-streaming is a great time to learn why Innovate New Albany attracted thousands of people throughout central Ohio to its workshops and programs last year. In 2019, more than 1,300 people attended TIGER Talks, TIGER Workshops and TIGER Tales at its offices at 8000 Walton Parkway. More than 150 people took advantage of Expert Office Hours, free 30-minute consultations with a variety of business experts in marketing, public relations, digital communications and the law. Innovate New Albany’s formula for success was featured in the recent MidOhio Regional Planning Commission’s Central Ohio Workplace Incubator Showcase.
