The Heit Center for Healthy New Albany, a multidisciplinary health and fitness facility designed to make New Albany the healthiest community in the country, celebrated its 5th anniversary earlier this month. The one-of-a-kind center provides health services from Nationwide Children’s Hospital and The Ohio State University as well as a fitness center and community space, featuring a demonstration kitchen. The center provides hundreds of year-round classes and programs, including the indoor winter Farmers Market, focused on mental and physical well-being. Its opening at 150 E. Main Street has helped spur the growth of office, restaurants and retail stores at Market and Main Street.
