Plug Smart is offering up to $40,000 in energy efficiency match grants to area businesses at no cost to the building owner with a dollar for dollar match to make upgrades to their indoor or outdoor lighting, HVAC or temperature controls. The Energy Efficiency Program for Manufacturing and Non-Manufacturing grants can be applied to new construction, retrofits and redevelopment projects. Plug Smart received a $517,000 energy efficiency grant from the Ohio Energy Department to fund efforts to increase energy efficiency throughout the state.
