New Housing Options Appeal to Millennials and Empty Nesters

While the majority of New Albany’s residential development is comprised of single family homes on tree-lined streets, with sidewalks, parks and ample green space, New Albany is creating more versatile housing options in convenient and pedestrian-friendly areas like the Village Center.

Urban townhomes across from the Village Center have attracted residents looking for a more walkable location with convenient amenities just steps away. Now, Kaufman Development is building a 130-unit apartment complex in the Village Center that is designed to appeal to younger professionals who want to be closer to their work places and empty nesters choosing to downsize and remain in the community.

The Kaufman development features three-story buildings along Main Street offering one- and two-bedroom units as well as a few three-bedroom units. One and two-story floor plans are available. Located on the south side of the Market and Main roundabout, the new development is being built in partnership with the New Albany Company and Daimler Group.
