With the third highest concentration of fashion designers in the country, surpassed only by New York City and Los Angeles, Columbus’ reputation as a retail mecca continues to grow and New Albany is a key part of the equation.

Columbus’ fashion and retail reputation came of age when Les Wexner founded The Limited which evolved into a galaxy of leading brands, including Victoria’s Secret. L Brands later spun out Abercrombie & Fitch and Hollister, both based in New Albany, as well as Ascena Retail Group’s Justice.

Central Ohio is home to the country’s leading retail brand consulting firms and fresh fashion talent is readily available thanks to highly ranked programs at the Columbus College of Art & Design and The Ohio State University, two factors that reinforce its growing reputation.
