A recent article in Columbus CEO magazine describes “a tightly managed logistics platform and constant communications up and down the supply chain” that create a distinct competitive advantage for companies at the New Albany International Business Park’s Personal Care and Beauty Campus.
The first of its kind in the nation, the highly-integrated environment enables major national brands to quickly respond to changing consumer demand by incorporating product development, design, manufacturing, packaging and distribution within a campus encompassing 1.9 miles.
In just six years, the park has attracted 14 companies, including L Brands / Bath & Body Works’ distribution operation. Since it opened, seven of the original campus companies have already expanded operations here.
