Designed to increase exports and create jobs, the Ohio International Market Access Grant for Exporters (IMAGE) offers small businesses assistance in promoting their products and services in international markets.
The grant provides a 50 percent reimbursement up to $10,000 per fiscal year for qualifying activities. The program is funded through the Small Business Administration’s State Trade Expansion Program (STEP). Ohio received $750,000, an increase of $50,000 from last year’s award, and will provide $250,000 in matching funds.
The grants will be awarded to businesses to use for international trade show exhibitions, advertising, trade missions, individual market visits, translation services and global target programs.
