SmartRide New Albany and the Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) have teamed up to provide employees of the New Albany International Business Park with an affordable and convenient commuting option. COTA offers hourly service via Line 35 and rush-hour express service via Line 45. SmartRide New Albany complements Lines 35 and 45 with free shuttle service to and from the businesses in the International Business Park.
New Albany’s public bicycle sharing program offers bikes available for rent on a short-term basis, from 7 am to dusk daily, at the bike station near the southwest corner of New Albany-Condit Road and Walton Parkway.
The Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission’s Gohio Mobility Hub is a web-based service that allows commuters to find cost-effective commuting options, including buses, bikes, carpools and vanpools.
MORPC’s Emergency Ride Home program provides free rides to home or a Park & Ride for commuters using sustainable forms of transportation if they are stranded at work due to unexpected overtime or need to leave due to an emergency or illness.
